As a Mum of two beautiful kids I started creating my own advent calendars each year at Christmas time as a healthy and more exciting option to the throw-away chocolate advent calendars. My keepsake advent calendars were always created with a view to providing activities and games that would surprise and excite, encourage play and inspire creativity.

I filled little drawers with Christmas craft activities, puzzles, fun stationary and toy items and each day my kids would run to their calendars and enjoy opening a little drawer, finding a new hidden activity each day in the countdown to Christmas.  After friends kept asking me to make advent calendars for their kids, Little Advent Boxes was created.

One of the hardest things I found in making these for my kids each year was sourcing fun items that were small in size, but big in fun! Our advent filler packs are jam-packed full of super fun activity items for kids that are just the right size to fit into Little Advent Boxes calendar drawers.

At Christmas time it is so easy to get caught up in our busy lives and the rush of Christmas that we often forget to remember that not all children share the same luxuries that we take for granted every day….. so $1 from every Little Advent Box sale is donated to a one of the life-changing charity development projects  that Little Advent Boxes supports through the i-=Change program.  The projects we support provide children with their basic rights of health, education and a safe environment to live in.   After checkout, you can choose which development project you would like us to send our donation to.
